Why membership?

Founded at the end of 2020, CnEVPost has become one of the most important windows for English-speaking readers to learn about China's electric vehicle (EV) industry over the past few years.

Our two fulltime authors – Phate Zhang and Lei Kang, use their long experience in the media industry to help readers get accurate information at the first time, narrowing the information gap between them and professionals.

Since its inception, in-page programmatic advertisements have been CnEVPost's only source of revenue.

We do not seek partnerships with companies we cover for additional resources and growth. We have even turned down such opportunities for fear that the content could be compromised.

Having operated independently for the past several years, we have been able to always do our own coverage independently without being influenced by any company or any party, and enjoy that freedom and peace of mind.

But the cost of that has been that we've never been able to expand our team, and in turn, we've been unable to provide you with more and better content.

So we started experimenting with offering member subscriptions in the hope that subscribers' contributions would help us gain additional resources for covering content that had been dropped because of the limited energy of our tiny team.

CnEVPost content will not be behind a paywall, meaning that even if readers don't subscribe, they'll continue to be able to enjoy the free content just as before.

Paid subscribers are able to enjoy an ad-free reading environment for as little as $10 a month, while we have the chance to provide you with more and better content.

Are my payments secure?

All payments are made by credit card through Memberful, which uses Stripe as its payment processor. You can learn more about security at Memberful and Stripe.

CnEVPost.com does not store, nor can we see, a user's card information. We can see only your e-mail address for registration.

After becoming a member and logging in, your account and subscription information will be available in the upper right hand corner of the page, they all come from Memberful, we only provide quick access to link to these Memberful pages.

How do I log in?

After you click the Member Login button, you will be taken to CnEVPost's home page at Memberful.com.

After you enter your email, click Continue and you will get a login authorization email from which you can click on the link to log in.

CnEVPost.com does not allow user registration at this time, and all logins for subscribed members are done through that magic link.

How do I cancel or adjust my membership plan?

You can log in to your account to cancel your subscription, modify your plan, change your credit card, and more.

You can request a refund and you don't even need a reason.

What are you going to do with my email address?

Your email address will not be provided to anyone for any purpose.

You may receive emails from Memberful regarding your payments -- invoices, renewal notices etc.

Do I have to log in every time I visit the site?

No, it is not required. Once you log in to a specific browser on a specific device, you will remain logged in unless your privacy settings clear the history, or you manually clear the history or cache.

If you are unable to log in, please check your browser's security settings. If you have disabled third-party cookies, our membership software will not work. Either change the settings or use a different browser.

If you are using a different browser and a different device to access our website, you will need to log in separately for each different browser and device.
